I just had to share these pictures.
These were taken a few weeks ago, but our garden is running riot right now with brown-eyed Susans, dahlias, cosmos and others. The astilbe was beautiful this year – it loves the shady side of our yard, next to the woods – and so was my favorite rose. I wish I could include the perfume here.
I’m not working full-time right now, just doing some tutoring, so I’m working away on Heart and anticipating the re-release of Chance, expected later this month. Yes, September is a time for new beginnings, and here in Nova Scotia it usually gives us the year’s nicest weather. We’re enjoying a stretch of fine, sunny days without the humidity we had earlier.
Would a rose by any other name smell as sweet? I don’t think so.
