I missed posting last weekend, but for good reason. I was busy attending to the details of getting Deliverance uploaded for publication! There were a few technical issues but those are now resolved, the print proof copy has been shipped and I just uploaded the e-book to Amazon. I’ll upload the Smashwords and Nook versions later today.
If I had a recording of Etta James singing “At Last”, I’d be playing it now. It’s been a year and a half since Shattered came out. I took some time away from writing last summer, began another project – Something of Worth, my inspirational romance, which I’ve mentioned in a couple of posts – and I’ve had a lot of learning to do with my new job. Right now I’m working on Flight – Georgie O’Neill’s book – and working on getting ready to pitch Something of Worth to Love Inspired Historicals. The pitch contest is happening in early May, and I guess the result is going to determine what I write next, but right now Georgie and Cam’s story is calling to me.
But the couple of the moment is Carl and Naomi. To celebrate the release of Deliverance, I’m going to have a contest. I’ll anounce the details once the book is available through all channels, to give everyone a fair shot. Meanwhile, here’s a little mini-contest to refresh people’s memories on the background of the story: The first three people who comment on this post with their favourite moment from Shattered will receive an e-copy of Deliverance in the format of their choice. I’m looking forward to hearing your ideas!
