I have news! Those of you who’ve been connected with me for a while know that I started on my writing journey with two novels about the McShannon family from Morgan County, Georgia. Those books have been out of print for a while now, but last fall I decided to send them back out into the world. I submitted Rochelle McShannon’s story to Tirgearr Publishing with a new title, Where The Heart Is, and it’s been accepted! I couldn’t be more pleased. The McShannons are still dear to my heart, and I have a soft spot for Chelle’s hero, Martin Rainnie, as well.
Martin is a musician, like my partner, Everett. We met when I answered his advertisement for guitar students. It didn’t take long for him to stop charging me for lessons, and the rest is history. I put some of my favourite music in Where The Heart Is, and one of my favourite landscapes as well – The Yorkshire Dales.
I’ve been given a publication date of September 7. Stay turned for excerpts and a cover reveal when it’s available. It looks like I have a busy summer ahead!
